MCGREGOR

In the red corner we have an Irishman. A Dublin local, with a love of the highest & sincerest order for his perceivably insignificant little country on the Emerald Isle. A noble wearer of the tricolour and bona fide believer in Irelands unique heritage. Irish pride personified, with the unquestionably Irish ‘The Foggy Dew’ as his personal theme tune.

In the red corner we have a son, a brother, a partner, a father. A family man with success falling out of his ears, playing the fickle balancing game between full time Da and full time celebrity. A symbol of fortuitous ambition to his son, who at only 3 months old has absolutely no idea what lies ahead of him.

In the red corner we have a UFC fighter turned professional boxer. An over-achiever, who in 2016 became the first ever fighter in MMA history to hold titles in two weight divisions simultaneously. A man who singlehandedly brings the nation to a standstill on eery and silent Sunday mornings when the time comes for him to face his next opponent. The instigator of alarms set to ring at stupid o’clock, when we drag ourselves out of comfort, dreary-eyed and hopeful, paying whatever means necessary to be a part of the Irish takeover.

In the red corner we have a dreamer. An optimist, with boundless self-belief, self-worth, self-love. A dreamer of dreams so vividly visualised, not a force on the planet can stand in achievements way. A teenager who once uttered the brave words, “I will be the ultimate fighting champion of the world”, and watched this bold statement manifest into his uninterrupted reality. Living proof of the law of attraction, a walking reminder of the power of positivity.

In the red corner, we have…

THE NOTORIOUS CONOR MCGREGOR 💚
